Coraline is a Holstein — a recognizable breed of cow due to their black-and-white coloring and their ability to produce a lot of milk. Holsteins originated in the Netherlands and are the result of breeding black Batavian cows with white Friesian cows nearly 2,000 years ago, creating the Holstein-Friesian breed we simply call Holsteins today.
